Davido, “Omo Baba Olowo” set to perform in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and more . At just 20, Davido has had a hit album, signed 2 artists to his HKN label, commenced plans for a clothing line and is set to build a school to help children from less privileged backgrounds. Add to this his recent European tour which commenced on straight after the release of his latest video, “One of a Kind”, Davido has announced his European tour that kicked off on 8th June in Vienna, Austria! The tour will see Davido performing in seven other cities all across Europe including Prague, Paris and Holland!
His debut album, O.B.O (Omo Baba Olowo): The Genesis, did phenomenally well for the young artist on a national and international basis, and whether he is performing at home in Nigerian or away in Holland fans are singing along with him and attending his concerts in the masses.
Monster hits such as “dami duro” and “back when” and first class videos including “overseas” “Ekuro” and “feel alright” Davido proves time and time again that he provides nothing but the best for his fans! His much anticipated sophomore did not disappoint and with new singles such as “Gobe” already racking up more than one million views on YouTube, fans are eagerly awaiting the next Davido album.
Davido received an array of awards for his album in 2012 including Hottest Single of the Year for “Dami duro”-, Best New Act of the Year and Best Collabo for “back when”. Now in 2013, he has received a nomination in the Ghana Music Award for best African artist of the year and three nominations in the City People Entertainment Award for- male musician of the year, most popular song of the year for “Gobe” and best hip-hop artist of the year
Davido has been recording with artistes like Dotstar, Lynxxx, Sauce Kid, DJ Skales, Tiwa Savage, Mo’Cheddah, DJ Neptune, Wizkid, Shank, and many more in preparation for his next not yet titled album. With the debut single entering countdown charts across the country, Davido is almost set to release a follow up single to ensure that his fans always have something new to enjoy.
