Vodafone Ghana, the brains behind the talent music show dubbed Vodafone Icons has confirmed the date of Vodafone Icons: Street Edition finals grand finale. The date has been set for 5th September 2013.

The four finalists namely; Marion, Buda, Kelvin and Ryan will go head-to-head to win the competition.

One contestant stands the chance of winning the cash price of 250, 000 GHC, a recording contract with Universal Records, Samsung products and many.

An exciting thing about finals is that the contestants get to perform their own composed songs.

Let’s talk a little about the final four.

I think it’s fair to say that Marion, the youngest in the competition had the complete package from the start: talent, personality and stagecraft. She’s hard to beat in terms of passion and believability when she holds the mic and sings in front of the audience and judges.

Throughout the whole competition, Kelvin has grown in terms of stagecraft. He always upgrades because he listens to the advices of Miss Naa, Gena West and Appietus.

Handsome looking, pleasant, positive and talented; best describes Ryan. He is ‘slow’ when singing but able to ignite fire into his performance with rap verses.  Ryan is ready to blow people’s minds next Thursday.

If my guess is correct, this year’s Vodafone Icons was themed ‘Street Edition’ and Icon viewers simply wanted to see a showdown from the street.

Buda, blood brother of Kwaw Kese who rose to stardom from the streets will be a perfect choice for this year’s Vodafone Icons: Street Edition. Buda styles is so different from the other three contestants and has always been known to surprise viewers with unpredictable arrangements and well-placed vocal acrobatics.

Please send ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ to 3030 for Vodafone users and ‘1732’ to other networks to ensure that your favorite contestant wins. You also stand a chance of winning Samsung Galaxy mobile phones, Samsung Galaxy tablets,  Vodafone recharge cards, Blackberry phones and more, so let the votes ‘flow’.
