[With fans still keeping his “Burner” song in steady rotation, New York rapper Safaree Samuels tells STV he has more hits on deck.]

Real talk, when people hear, and I’m getting chills saying it, but when they hear the songs that I have under my belt, people are really going to be like, “Okay. This guy is really here to do something. He’s not here to just drop one song.”

I like “Burner,” it’s an ill song, but I got some songs under my belt. Real talk.

As far as the EP being finished, I have a lot of songs that if I want to be like, “You know what? Here’s the EP. It’s done,” I could do that but I’m not going to be the type of person to just jump out of the window.

I want to just drop song by song and let people get comfortable with me and get familiar with me and see the lane that I’m in and what I’m doing.

I don’t try to be like nobody else. I don’t sound like nobody else. I’m just really in my own pocket.

Sometimes when I hear my music, I think, “Who could be on this song?” Because I don’t hear nobody else on it.
